Producing custom rubber parts fabrication in-house for over ten decades allows us to offer unlimited options for your industrial needs. We use our knowledge and fabrication experience in order to understand each application, select the best materials and offer the most cost effective manufacturing processes based on each customer’s needs. Whether it’s redesigning and improving an existing part, remanufacturing an old obsolete part, or developing a new product.

Count on RK Rubber for conveyor belt, rubber sleeve and rubber sheet fabrication as well as a wide range of new and replacement rubber parts and accessories. We provide quick, accurate production of rubber prototypes to meet demanding deadlines.

Vulcanizing

Vulcanized sleeves is our niche but we can utilize this (technique/process) in many ways. With a variety of vulcanizing presses we have the ability to laminate rubber sheets for specific thicknesses or dual durometer/dual material sheets and parts. We have the capabilities to bond one or more sheets together in order to make oversized material rolls that are not offered by most material suppliers. We also offer in house and onsite heavy weight conveyor belt vulcanizing.

Machining Services

Some applications require more precision, from ground finish sleeves to gaskets, bushing and seals we can machine to required specs. Often on low quantity lengths or one off gaskets, we can machine a profile more cost effectively by avoiding the upfront tooling costs needed for molded and extruded parts. In other instances, the part may be too large to mold or extrude in which case we can fabricate from sheet rubber and machine to spec.

Die Cutting

From 1 part or 5,000 we are ready to meet all your die cutting needs on most materials up to 1”. Die Cut Rubber parts are an economical solution for many larger quantities and repetitive maintenance parts under 24” Wide. Some parts have intricate designs that are not easily done as hand fabricated parts and are better suited to be die cut even with low volume orders

Sheet Rubber Services

We offer strip and sheet material cut to width and length from ¼” to 15’ wide depending on material specs. We stock a variety of rubber compound in durometers (hardness) from 20 – 80 durometer. 1/64” – 2”

Onsite Belt Install/Vulcanization

We offer onsite belt installs with mechanical fasteners (Flexco products & Superscrew) or hot vulcanized splices. Has your belt ripped or stretched out beyond the take ups? We can fix that too. While we are there, we will assess the conveyor and components, identify areas of concern, and offer suggestions on how to improve performance, belt life, and avoid costly breakdowns.
